Through steadily consolidated expansion based on products of excellence, BIGHT has maintained export to Europe, the USA, South Africa, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Japan, where the Trademark BIGHT brand is acknowledged and respected as signifying consistency and quality. AUSTRALIAN BIGHT SEAFOOD has been completely Australian owned since establishment. The processing operations, live fish tanks and offices are located in PORT LINCOLN, a major fishing port of Australia (see map below). Our close proximity to local fishing areas is advantageous to all parties concerned, with rapid and efficient handling resulting in a high quality end product and low mortality of live fish for the international and domestic markets. We also operate a subsidiary office in DARWIN, on the coast of Northern Australia to support product acquisition of prawns from Northern waters. Processing and trade is predominantly based on : PRAWNS (SHRIMP), LIVE SOUTHERN ROCK LOBSTER, AND SOUTHERN BLUEFIN TUNA - all natural sea products sourced from pristine Australian waters. We have been processing Southern Bluefin Tuna for over ten years, and in 1999, we were able to completely reorganise our tuna processing operation to cater specifically for the latest cryogenic freezing methods for the ultra low frozen sashimi tuna market in Japan, proving our ability to diversify to market demands.
